Create a scent station (items with your/your dog’s smell - unwashed bedding, clothing, toys, etc.). Check it often, especially quiet times (late evening/early morning). This step especially important if in an unfamiliar area! If you have another dog, walk the area with it on a leash. Check nearby Ring/security cameras in the area. Post simple signs (large neon poster, large photo, word “lost,” your phone number) in your yard and neighborhood. (Put in plastic sleeve/page protector first.). Contact the microchip company (be sure your contact info is up-to-date). Check the Shelter(s) at least every other day - in person! You know your pet best. Post on NextDoor app as covers your surrounding neighborhoods. When your pet is spotted, do not call or chase him/her! Just sit down on the ground and be very quiet. Does your dog have a microchip with your current contract information. Put a flourescent poster in your front yard so if someone has him they will know where he lives and bring him home

I saw a black lab this morning with no collar on 5400 West, just north of 4100 S. He would not come to me. But looked like your dog. Possible sighting.
