Because he is not neutered, he has probably gone to look for girls and has gotten lost or possibly injured in fighting other cats. The urge to mate is strong. That's why neutering will extend their lives. It does NOT change their personalities. I sincerely hope he will come home. Be sure to check the shelter and Humane Society in case he was picked up.
