Message from Owner

We got Kiki as a stray from around our hse around December ever since then he’s been living with us. We recently got him neutered a week ago and about 5 days after he slipped out the door. Whenever he goes outside he usually comes back in after around 3 hours right now he’s been gone for almost 48 hours. I’ve searched around my neighborhood and I cannot find him. Kiki has never been gone this long before and I’m very concerned. If anyone has seen him please give us any info we are very concerned about him.

Look at night with a flashlight while calling his name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with his scent on it like his bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with his photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

Trust me I have been. I’ve told all my neighbors and I’ve been out looking for hours in the bushes and everywhere. I’m planning to stay up in case he decides to come back during the night and then in the morning during dawn go back out there looking

Lost cat: If not back yet, perhaps can these tips be of help. Check with Animal Control/Animal Shelter in person, may need to be more than once. Put out some unlaundered clothing from his/her favorite person. Then, at dawn and dusk, when it is calm and quiet, go outside and softly call for him/her while carrying their favorite food. Do not call them if you see them. Assume a low position, blink slowly as that says “friendly, no threat”, and carry their favorite stinky food. Look in every nook and cranny inside, in pump houses, sheds, garages, play houses, and up in trees. If you have a garage, keep the door up 5-6” and put the cat bed inside about 4-5’. Also put some stinky food he likes in there. They usually stay close to home. Put up neon flyers with picture and contact info. Hope he/she is back soon!
