You can bet somebody's looking for him! If you haven’t already, call police depts. in the area where the dog was found, any local shelters and vets with a description of the dog. Some PDs are very helpful about taking info on lost/found pets. Make up large, easily read flyers and post them in your neighborhood. Post a found ad on nextdoor.com. If you take the dog to any vet or shelter, they can scan for a microchip at no cost to you.
