Confusing post, I just hope the dog is chipped, was wearing a current ID tag and gets safely back with its owner. In the meantime the owner needs to go every day to local humane shelters to see if the dog is there, just calling isn’t enough as the person answering the phone probably isn’t aware of the dogs in the stray section
