Message from Owner

Bloopi is my black cat. Last seen on 53rd St between 5th and 6th, he’s super friendly and will climb on you and start licking you. I’m not sure if anyone took him by mistake thinking he’s a stray cat but please return him everybody on the block knows bloopi is not a stray cat.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Bloopi is probably hiding close by, indoor cats dont roam far. Walk the neighborhood early in the am and after dark, bring with you a can of tuna fish, walk and flick the tuna juice, say something he will recognize, repeat.

First put out a big bowl of water IMMEDIATELY. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, local rescue groups, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them!!! Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!
