Jennie thank you for posting this. To those who posted the FOUND ad - thank you for caring. If you can catch the cat, any vet or the CV Animal Shelter can scan for a microchip to see if it has a single owner. But, most likely it was feral and the person who had it neutered (where they clip the ear) agreed to feed it outside. 😊

This is a community cat and the ear tip was likely done during her spay (by the markings this cat is a tortoiseshell which are almost always female). Someone in your neighborhood has been kind enough to have her sterilized.
