Salem is Missing in Gladewater, TX

Our family’s 2 year old cat , Salem (“SaySay”) , has been missing for 4–5 days 🥺 We live off the 500 block of West Gay Avenue . Salem is very fluffy with: -A feather duster tail -Fur that sticks out of his ears , cheeks , & between his toes -Very little shedding -Slight reddish tint in the sun -A few stray grey/white hairs Because of his long fur, the hair under his armpits & under his tail tends to mat quickly if it isn’t brushed out , so he may have mats in those places by now . Some more identifying details: -The inside of his mouth is primarily pink with a black patch/pattern on the roof of his mouth -He has a small scratch/scar above his left eyebrow where fur struggles to grow back (may be hard to notice) -Very vocal with exaggerated happy meows/prowls , especially in the morning -Approximately 10-13lbs -Very good with kids -Tolerates dogs He is very sweet with us (ragdoll-like personality) , but he can be shy or skittish around unfamiliar people . He was not wearing a collar & was unfortunately not microchipped when he went missing . I deeply regret not taking precautions sooner & if we are lucky enough to bring him home , that will be corrected .
