Go out at nite with a flashlight and their fav food, goodies or salmon and tuna. Look in bushes, under cars, etc. if u have a garage leave the door open a bit with his food or even a window. Make up posters and spread them around the area. Motion lights are helpful. Check the city, all rescue organizations and vets in your area every day.

The leaving out something with his scent . And a window or door even though it is cold out and raining and windy . Make likely close by and scared . Hopefully back soon

I know this is not ideal, but if you can, leave your door open a little bit and put out your worn clothes. We did this and our cat came home in the middle of the night after missing for a few days.

Post on YYC Pet Recovery another great site like this one, I always recommend checking with neighbours in case kitty is hiding in someone’s yard under a deck sometimes people take the man for a while to keep them safe. It is possible report can be missing to 311 keep checking the city of Calgary animal services in case someone has brought kitty in there if Kitty has ID they would contact you. Most importantly, keep getting outside at different times of the day and later in the evening calling kitty with treats I’m sure you’re doing all these things. Just recommending the things that help me and getting my kitty back. Take care and keep looking.

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.
