Kelly Crown My experience if indoor only have enough nerve to come out they do as soon as it’s dark, and usually feeders feed before dawn or at dawn/breakfast time and then at dark/dinner time, thats why it’s so important whether it’s an indoor, in/out or feral to ask around to find your local feeder and they know if it’s been there or will bolo for you.

Please get flyers up down there and by your house today, it’s to cold and he’s to little to survive himself.

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope

Put out something that he's familiar with that carries his scent (a bed, a blanket but NOT a litterbox). CALL FOR HIM IN THE QUIET, STILL HOURS (11pm-7am). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT (5am seems to be the luckiest hour)!!!!!!! Scared cats move around while the rest of the world is still. Put out food in intervals (not at night) when you can keep an eye out. Talk to your neighbors, generally, they don't go far and find an open garage or shed to huddle down. If these suggestions don’t work: lost pet cats may not respond the way you’d expect your beloved kitty to and they may not just come to your calling so be prepared to have to use a humane trap (he will return to himself once he’s back inside) and put signs in your local pet store (if someone takes him in they will need litter and food). I hope you find him 🧡

Yona Yona Yona I texted your cell yesterday asking for info. I’ve been finding cats for a long time. So he definitely got out of the building? Is he indoor only or indoor/outdoor? Indoor only hide immediately! YOU have to PHYSICALLY FIND HIM. There may be only a couple people in that area on lost pages.

Yona Yona Yona So he got out, outside of the appt? I saw a flash of an orange kitten prob his size behind this house but I was laying in the ground looking under cars and ran around and ran into 3 driveways and he was gone! It’s 4 min druve, 26 human walk but he could’ve easily hitched a ride.
