We still haven't heard anything about Gizmo, so we're assuming (and praying) someone scooped him up and is taking care of him .., but I would just like to rant a bit about Florence County Shelter .. this little guy was lost a few miles from the facility and the owner had no means of transportation.. we had tried to contact the group multiple times to just verbally verify if..the specific dog in multiple pictures provided had been found or seen.. they stated we had to physically come in to 'check', which would have been very difficult for the owner with his current situation. I love the work they do and provide, I know they do what they can and I understand why 'maybe' you wouldn't want to tell a stranger over the phone some details.. but if someone is trying to explain they have papers, can verify via a strange pet trick, and he MIGHT be wearing an unpowered 'TryFi' pet location collar.. and they can't just give a 'yes it would be worth coming in' or 'not at this time' . Ok I'm better.. I want to thank this group and the good you all do. Everyone appreciates it so much.. <3
