Shared. Please secure the kitty and get a microchip scan done asap. Any veterinary office and some pet stores can scan. Call ahead to verify and to schedule the scan if needed. Post the kitty on Nextdoor as well and check frequently for updates on both websites. Not everyone checks social media, post flyers in the area. Include veterinary offices and pet stores when you post the flyers. Ask for proof when someone contacts you to claim the kitty, and pay very close attention to the kitty's reaction to the person.
