Maria Carrigan I ask because I had a very friendly cockatiel who got out. I put up posters everywhere and reposted them. My neighbor 1 street over found him. I got him back about a month later. Be vigilant, he may show up. Put his cage outside with treat and call loudly and frequently for him. I’m so sorry you lost him and pray you get him back.

Kelly Kramer yes we feed him from our hands often but he prefers to eat from a bowl. I don't know how he would do with strangers
