Nic Ole this is so sad. Did you know that NC requires boarders to be licensed? That list of names can be viewed on the NC Department of Agriculture's website. Also, lwgit businesses are listed on the NC secretary of State website. Let's not trust anyone who isn't legit? You can Google microchip company's contact info. Your vet will prob. have the michip number listed on the medical records? Please report the person who was boarding your pet? Just screenshot a copy of their post offering services and email it to the Dept. of Ag.

Nic Ole you can update the microchip on the chip company's website 👍 if you can't remember what the chip number is, contact whoever put it in. Good luck ❤️

Suzy Creamcheese this is my cat, he’s neutered the microchip isn’t updated I got it 10 years ago. Indoor only cat. He was being fostered while I got on my feet from someone claiming to board animals on next door. I went door to door today in the area and found someone who said she has been feeding him. Hoping to find him soon

Is he neutered? Microchipped? Indoor only, or indoor/outdoor? Was he being fostered for a rescue or a shelter?
