Hoping this is the case for Owner too— that their baby hasn’t actually escaped the unit, just found a very inconvenient and hidden place to hunker down.

If owner can see this— if you think she went missing at your new place, take a flash light and look underneath your kitchen and bathroom cabinets. In corners/where the cabinets meet. There is often a hollow spot, unless there is one of those spinning corner lower cabinets. Bc there isn’t a cabinet there, there is often a hole big enough for a cat to slip through from the bottom/baseboard part of the cabinet. My cat crawled into that spot at TWO separate apts. I had maintenance cover the hole after I coaxed her out. These holes also exist around dish washers and other lower cabinet appliances.
