We are heart broken that Jazzy has disappeared! We got her in the stranges way. She was probably about 5 weeks old and my husband found under a storage building in our yard. Her mom had left there. We didn't have any idea who she belong to and if something happened to her mom because she didn't come back to get her so my husband started feeding her. She was like a feral kitten and wouldn't come out from under building for anyone but my husband. She finally came out to my 5 yr old granddaughter. When she got older she would come to the hse to eat but not come in the hse but recently she started coming in and then she started getting up in my lap while we watched TV and sleep and purr! She is a very sweet cat and beautiful! I couldn't have picked a prettier cat if I had bought her.Nowc she won't get near anyone but us. That worries me because I'm afraid she won't go to anyone for food or to have a warm place to sleep when it's really cold! We miss her so much and our little poodle just keeps going through the hse looking for her😔😪😪

Put up signs, contact local vets and shelters, talk to your neighbors, and post on all the lost and found groups you can find. Put out food and water. Leave a way open for her to get back inside or make her a shelter. If you don't have a camera, get one (to see if she comes home for the food....a neighbor's camera is not the same), and keep food out for the kitty. Go out really early in the morning like 3 when it's totally quiet and call softly and listen for your kitty to answer back. They go into wild mode sometimes after they've been out when they're used to being in, so be prepared for the kitty to run or seem aggressive. One of ours recently got out and this is how we got her back after 10 days. We saw her on the camera at 3AM the 9th day. I went out and called for her at 3 the next morning when it was still and quiet outside. She answered back to me from behind our rose bushes. She bit me twice while I was bringing her in, but she was acting like herself again in a few hours after she settled down. It sometimes takes 10-14 days for a scared cat to be comfortable enough to come back around home. I hope you get your kitty home. Good luck.
