Message from Owner

Please help us find our angel Clovis. He is a fully indoor cat and we believe he escaped through a window above ground from apmt A between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM on June 3rd. He is somewhat timid but very sweet. If you see him, please contact us at. Thank you so much.

💖🐱IMPORTANT: In my MANY cases where the cat got out the window and scaled down a building with no way back inside - and the scared cat would not come to the guardian's calls night after night - the CAMERA aimed at wet food bowl** was KEY in spotting kitty. AND Once kitty was spotted on a camera - THEN we set the humane trap the next sunset and watched the trap non stop from inside my parked car or from inside the building depending on the trap location **to prevent ants place the bowl of wet food on a plate or larger bowl and add water to the outer bowl or plate so ants cannot swarm**. I can loan you a trap once you spot kitty on camera going to the wet food BUT still hiding from your calls... Here are the cameras to consider depending on your situation - call me for any help on deciding which once makes most sense 650.339.6619 damia ** 1) If you can run an extension cord from the window down to the ground or from the nearest door on the ground then get the Mini Blink WIFI WIRED camera $39 : https://a.co/d/0aQloEKH 2) This WIRELESS /waterprppf Blink camera would work if you are 1-3 stories high. THe receiver plugs into the wall and connects to you wifi and the camera is WIRELESS and you can place it 1-2 feet away from the food bowl : https://a.co/d/cDeKLXz 3) WIRELESS/BATTERY CAMERA - I think you should get this one as back up to wifi because this works excellent just place it 2 feet away from the food . If you are up more than 2 floors up then you should try the wifi camera AND a BATTERY operated camera that you check manually - this does not need wifi though unlike the blink cameras that send notifications to your phone a wildlife camera is manual - you must check the camera itself in the AM to see who ate the food the night before - this is an excellent camera I can help show you how to use it: This camera has helped me spot MANY lost cats in tricky areas that I couldn't set up a wifi camera ----> https://a.co/d/00sAprsq

YES if the window was left open for than 1 inch your cat escaped the window. Call for him calmly from just outside the nearest door below the window right now over and over CALMLY...he's in survival mode hiding from ALL humans. No one only will see him don't rely on online we live all over and - He is THERE hiding close to the escape point...LURE him to wet food tonight (and ongoing) as sun is setting and call for him TONIGHT . Get a camera aimed at the wet food ASAP - once you see him come to the FOOD but still hiding from you, THEN you can plan to humanely trap him. Leave a way for him to get back inside if you have a door below the window - leave the door open 4 inches. If you do NOT have a door to allow him back inside then you're praying he will come to your calls this morning or TONIGHT or tomorrow night...and if not - then your goal is to lure him to food ON CAMERA - THEN plan to trap him. I can guide you through that piece.... talk to your immediate neighbors asking them to check security cameras for night activity...he wil hide all day and try to return to the escape point at night..though it can take many nights.... you will get him home... 🚨🚨🚨WARNING🚨🚨🚨 SCAMMERS will claim they found your cat! Or will tell you about a (FAKE) INSTAGRAM Pet recovery service they used - OR WILL SHOW YOU an AI (FAKE) photo of your cat - these are SCAMMERS!!! SCAMMERS will text you saying they’re affiliated with Pawboost or an ANIMAL SHELTER and that they HAVE YOUR CAT and that YOU need to PROVE who you are by giving other phone numbers, your email, verifying google codes etc or to send money to get your cat from the shelter. These are all SCAMMERS! THEY WON'T Send you a PHOTO of your cat (they'll make up any excuse) OR THEY'LL SEND a PHOTO of a similar cat OR AN AI FAKE PHOTO - or a blurry video - but it’s not your cat! Look closely. Google the photo they send it could be a photo they stole from the internet. Please know that If your actual neighbor sees or has your cat they will give you information freely (and will post a PHOTO on your listing and not make you ‘send a code or personal information or money. 🚨🚨🚨There’s a NEW SCAM they will call you saying they are animal care and control and that your cat was brought in but got hit by a car and needs an operating then they will ask you for payment - THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Animal care and control would NEVER ask for money 🚨🚨🚨 ASK TO FACETIME ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO HAVE YOUR CAT (TO PROVE THEY HAVE YOUR CAT) AND THEY ARE ASKING YOU FOR A $ REWARD. SCAMMERS are the ONLY PEOPLE WHO ASK FOR A REWARD. 🚨🚨🚨There’s a NEW SCAM on Facebook the scammer will say something like ‘my husband found your cat or your cat was hit by a car please message me your phone number and send $ “ meaning they want you to message them from your Facebook messenger your phone number! 🚨🚨🚨The Facebook SCAMMER will tell you to look up a lost cat search team they used on Instagram or another platform saying their cat was found within hours -it’s a total SCAM. LOOK AT THEIR FACEBOOK PROFILE - you may see many (PAID) followers but they are not following anyone, The profile will have a few photos only, usually just selfies and the profile was created not long ago. You will see no posts / conversations with friends , I report the account to Facebook Scammers are heartless
