He just showed up yesterday in our neighborhood, with a homeless person, the person never had a pet before and now he is saying that the dog belongs to him, i called the police but they didn’t do anything. Dog is still with the homeless person.

I think the difference that everyone is not seeing here or maybe seeing but not saying is that as a homeless individual you have choices to go to a shelter and to try to get help and yes before everyone starts sometimes people don’t realize they have those choices, but the choices are there. The animals that these people have do not have the choice. They are by the people holding them, and that is not to say that these people do not love them or even need them, but the animal doesn’t get to have a say. We must help the animal
