He just showed up yesterday in our neighborhood, with a homeless person, the person never had a pet before and now he is saying that the dog belongs to him, i called the police but they didn’t do anything. Dog is still with the homeless person.

Dale Goodman Hey, i am just trying to help the dog because i know the guy since 3 years, he never had a dog, he’s never sober, he always plays with fire and set small fires around, he was arrested one time but they left him and he came back to the same neighborhood, the first time i saw him with the dog was yesterday, he was yelling and screaming nonsense things to dog and try to pull him from his neck. I know that the dog is not his dog. Yesterday i tried to help by calling the police but police did nothing but him out of the school with the dog. They walked away and the police told me that i cannot do anything without paperwork. But i know that this dog is not safe. Today i looked everywhere and they’re not around. I’ll keep looking and try to offer him some money to get the dog BUT please try to understand the picture and don’t get too defensive, i know homeless people can have pets, i helped some of them myself and i KNOW that this guy doesn’t own a pet and it’s probably stolen or missing dog.
