Cheri Horst if you called them and you didn’t get a live person , they are extremely busy in there . Did you take the dog there to get the chip scanned?

I'm glad that has been the case for you. My family got our Pom last year from a rescue and the day after we brought him home, he slipped out of our back door by accident and was roaming for a whole day before we caught him. I would've hated for people to spot him and blame us for him running around free, and thinking we're bad owners or humans, when it was an accident.

Cheri Horst Yea, you need to call PD when finding a stray. They will pick up and take to HS. Hard to say which Police Dept when finding in that area. Especially when it was seen in Avon as well
