Small all black cat

Message from Finder

This small fully black cat has been hanging around my yard for a few weeks. Friendly but skittish, will follow me around but not let me pet. This cat I’ve been calling JoJo is very interested in my cat when I walk walk him outside on his leash. Seems like he would follow me right into my hse, however my cat is not a fan. I have asked around where I can (very busy populated area). I feel like he has a family who is missing him somewhere.

Get cat to safety and then ask for a microchip check to find owner. If no owner found then ask for foster care.

Denise Mercer I would let him in in a heartbeat if my cat was ok with it. Sadly he is not, but I will keep trying. I’m doing my best to take care of him (or her) under the circumstances. He is definitely not feral and I don’t feel that he is a stray.

Shared. If its been a few weeks, maybe he "found" you. Many years ago I took in a cat who "found" me. When his brother came around I found him a home too. People sometimes think cats can fend for themselves in the wild. From my experience, when they are friendly and around a year old, most likely they were "let go" by someone.
