MESSAGE FROM OWNER
My name is Talea we ( as in me and my two children) recently had our therapy dog named scruff Mcpup stolen. He's been part of our family for the last 5 years since we rescued him. I have a 7 year old daughter thats nonverbal and was very fond of Scruff. My son who is 4 years old played with him on a everyday basis. Now he asks me where is scruff and I don't know how to explain it to him. Scruff was more than a therapy dog he was a member of our family because, he was with us everywhere we went. If you seen us you saw him. He's such a lovable dog. He's a brown, black and gray Shih Tzu . It effects us more each day not knowing his where abouts . my depression, my daughters isolation and my son's lost his playmate. I would let him out 3-4 times a day to do his doggie duties. He always came back and never too far that my whistle could reach him. Not this time. Is happened over a month ago. I've posted on paw boost, Facebook and the humane society and the police are aware . He's chipped but still to no avail. Our lives have been turned upside down since this event has happened. Maybe if we had a privacy fence this might not have happened but I'm disabled and on a fixed income. lf you could find lt ln your hearts to help with funding for a new dog ld greatly appreciate lt ,lm gonna start saving for a fence .
