My stepdaughter received word from a kind neighbor lady Millie was seen headed into a local farmer's corn field situated beside a very busy 40 MPH thoroughfare. After about a half-hour of calling her name, Millie romped out of the cornfield, covered in corn husks but seemingly fine. We were so fortunate- Millie crossing a very dangerous road with many self-absorbed speedsters rocketing along a good 10-20 over the posted 40 MPH could have ended VERY badly. The watchful eye of one good Samaritan may have saved Millie's life- and the ginormous heartbreak for those who love this truly wonderful pet. HUGE THANKS to the anonymous neighbor- we can never repay you!

Set-up a Scent Station outside, with the owner's dirty clothes/tie socks to trees, etc. Try grilling out some meat or cooking bacon with a door/window open. Post also to Nextdoor; Put an Ad in the local newspapers; check Craigslist. Post Lost Dog signs in the area lost & seen, (in a 5 mile radius); Give Flyers to neighbors/Mail and Delivery people; ask to please check under sheds, decks, etc. Report lost to area shelters; check often in person, if possible. Hope this helps to locate the lost pet!
