Description

Russian Grey/Tortoise mix, white chest, Girlie was found but not returned to me. A man named Cory in NLV stole her, sold her. Then this man named Martin sold her today June 3 to recover his payment On the picture you see the seller on the right. The man on the left might be the new illegal owner . Please contact me with information. Money was extorted This happened in NLV . I couldn't download the new picture.

Message from Owner

I got her as a few days old baby kitten because her mom realized that she was ill. I saved her life. She was an indoor kitty but she escaped into my quite large property which is fenced in Please call/text me when you see her.

There is a tortoise s cat hiding in a water heater closet, unit 151, building 6, on a new construction apartment build, 28th and Sunrise. Unsure if this is your kitty but I need a way to get this cat some help. I got transferred Friday so I will no longer be on the job site. The site supervisor says this cat has been going into units since Wednesday, the pic I snapped was when she was in a unit I was working in, I left her water both times I saw her and kept checking in, she let me pet her so definitely not feral…. left a sign by the unit so people know the cat was there, animal control was closed and I didn’t know who to reach out to

Post on Nextdoor and Neighbors Ring apps. Indoor cats stay close to home and may hide. Put out items of unwashed clothing or towels with your scent on it, 🚫DO NOT put a litterbox outside or in your garage with door cracked despite some people advising you to, it can attract predators, dogs or tomcats to the area that could endanger and chase him/her off preventing your cat from returning home.🚫 Go out multiple times between dusk and dawn with a flashlight to look for eyeshine, bring his/her treat bag and shake it while calling his/her name. You can even try a laser pointer toy and shine it around on the ground while out looking. If he/she is microchipped make sure your contact info is up to date and contact chip company to report as missing. Put up flyers within a 1 mile radius, not everyone uses social media. Talk to your neighbors, have them check garages, yards and sheds. Check the animal shelter daily, go in person often and bring a photo of your cat because they don’t always update their website daily, they are notoriously unreliable over the phone, telling people their pet isn’t there when it is and can be resistant to letting people go in the cat area to look for their cat so be firm and polite (The Animal Foundation). Most importantly be consistent and persistent, get out there on foot, not car, after dark everyday to search and don’t give up. And… Help a cat find their way home by: 1. Cut into strips their favorite unwashed blanket or items of clothing with your scent on it like socks, T-shirt or even a towel. 2. Tie the strips around posts, bushes, fencing from your house (several) to a 1 mile radius, placing more strips closer & closer to home to create a trail back home. 3. Leave their toys, food, water, something outside so if they make it back & you’re out, they stay. Often cats lose their way back home as they become disoriented. The premise behind this strategy is to guide them back to their house.
