Lucy Hunt Deterding I understand, you can go to the Garland Shelter and get his information or rescue him after he’s checked out. I know lots can’t afford Vet care, my granddaughter works in that field. I was in a situation to not keep him, I have 4 Dachshunds and couldn’t expose them to (mange) if he had that. He was running in the hot street, luckily his paws weren’t scorched! It was sad to see him in that condition, but he’s in a safe cool place, and I think they will clean him up, treat his skin. Unfortunately we can’t take in every dog or animal on the street. I did the best I could at the time.
