Message from Owner

I haven’t seen my cat In four days he always comes back home every night and didn’t come back. He loves to roll around in grass and he’s super friendly with everyone, he responds to his name and rarely meows.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I'm so sorry that Angel Dust is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask the neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere he may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took him in thinking that he was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in the neighborhood and on the doorstep of any neighbors you don't get to talk to. I've helped a few neighbors track down their missing cats. All of them were found just a few blocks away. Also check online at the found cats at the shelters near you. Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. If he's microchipped, make sure that your phone number and email connected to his chip registration is correct. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Angel Dust is reunited with you soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV
