Escaped overnight out of a window. Very unlike her as she is an only indoor cat and never tries to escape. Very loving and affectionate and would typically come to the sound of food, her name or psss psss psss.

Lost Cat Cats do not go far especially if indoor cats. Don't wait long to search!... close to home late at night and early in the AM when it's quiet and call your kitty and listen carefully. Ask ALL neighbors to please open their sheds and garages, this is important! Make a report with the police and Animal Control. Go around and show neighbors pictures of your cat. Use social media especially lost and found Facebook site. Pawboost helps! Go to Animal Control in person frequently because they are super busy and your kitty may be overlooked. 🙏 🙏 for you and your kitty

Go out in the dark with a flashlight look around all bushes and building and under porches and look for the glow of the eyes

I’ll share your post but for now know that he’s likely close by. Indoor cats tend to hide in the nearest place they feel is safe- under or behind shrubs, decks, sheds, window wells. Put out your unwashed laundry as a scent guide (not the litterbox that can attract other animals). A humane trap with smelly food -and if possible, a camera- can be a big help. You can search anytime but nights are great- less noise. Call his name softly, listen. Shake the treat bag. Wishing you well.

Shared check in & under sheds, my cat once got out and was trapped in a neighbors shed, ask neighbors,to check in & under there shed, you should too. Check under car & under hood of car in engine area. My mother’s cat escaped & ran under car & climbed into hood from under car. I witnessed this happen that is how we go her cat so quickly. While kero close eye on garage, leave garage door open if you can and kitty run in. If you have no other pets you can open door to your home or porch late at night & early morning, call kitty, open can of cat food, call kitty, so kitty can run in easily, kitty may be hiding close by & scared to come out but opening door and calling kitty , kitty may run in. Of course stay by your door while left open while calling kitty. Walk late at night & early morning around area calling kitty with smelly food, treats and opening cans cat food. Post flyers, notify local vet, rescue & animal shelters of missing kitty. Check all places in person to see if kitty brought in. I would definitely knock on neighbors doors all around, up to at least 10 houses away& several streets away front and back & give out flyers. If kitty hopped fence or crossed street could be streets away. I would post lost kitty billboard on my front lawn with photo. Check attic my kitty ran up there once. Good luck hope kitty is found soon.
