Reassuring story: my boy got out last week. He looks like this guy but without the white spot. I was devastated. My Loki is my life. He's an ESA and I have CPTSD and can not lose him. He's saved my life before. He was gone 13 hours. The worst went through my head. He goes into freeze mode when he's scared and he can make himself very small. We just moved and I was worried about the unfamiliar area. I thought he was a goner for sure. Turns out, he was in the garage. Maybe the whole time. Right after he went missing, I opened it hoping he would go in and he did. I'm not sure when but it helped I think to put his blanket, cat tower, litter box, and food in there.
