Seems shes been. missing for quite some time. A couple different families have been feeding her since at least the beginning of 2026. We found this out through posts on missing dog pages. But that family that had been feeding her since said she's not their dog. She just showed up so they started to feed her. We are hoping to get her adopted or best case, if she's been missing from her family, we can reunite them! She is so loving and sweet. She sits and knows commands. She'll sit in your lap if you'll let her! She plays well with my dog. She's quiet, never barks and just a very gentle dog. She hasn't had a single mishap so appears to be potty trained and hasn't gotten into anything at all. She's an angel!

Rebecca Ober Well that's crazy and thank you so much for keeping her safe and caring for her. She was most definitely someone's pet at one time. Wish she could tell her story.

Mandi Prather-Black The dog has no chip. I posted on all our local pages. There's posts all the way back to February with people looking for her owner. The post in Feb had updated post to "Owner Found." She gave us the persons info who claimed to be her owner but when we got in touch with them they said they aren't actually the owner, that they'd just been feeding her when she would come around but never let her in the house. Strange the post said "owner found" as if they claimed her then but aren't anymore. I don't know but she is so sweet, well behaved and knows commands and is potty trained. It's hard to believe she wasn't someones pet at some point. The post back in Feb she was very skinny. She has definitely put on weight since then. But it tells me if she had been separated from her family, or dumped, she had been on her own long before Feb

Beautiful dog. Can you have it scanned for a chip? Any vet will do that free of charge. Also notify the shelter of a found pet because owners will hopefully fill out a lost form. And please be sure you post to all of your local groups as well as next door. Please get proof of ownership. Most people will at least have a picture of their pet and remember dogs always know their people.
