Omer Zubair society for the prevention of cruelty to animals. They do lost and found pets too. I’ll check to see if they have a presence in your area. They often work in conjunction with the humane society I just checked. They function together with the Humane Society

The flyers to your neighbours are a great idea. One of my other cats got into the house next door through the garage. For a few days, they didn’t realize they had two black cats, not just one. 🙀

Yes, food just attracts other cats and critters. The kitty litter is a better bet. As I understand it, cats who don’t know what their home smells like, or looks like have a hard time identifying “home”. Leave the kitty litter out. Your neighbours won’t mind if they know why. Is Simba familiar with the front of your house, or only the back yard? All the more reason to put some used kitty litter in both areas. Has the front of your home been renovated recently so that Simba wouldn’t recognize it? Apparently that could be a factor too. Are there any empty houses for sale in your neighbourhood? Could Simba have got into a house or garage? All the best to you Omer Zubair on this. When you get Simba back, a big catio is probably in order so he can enjoy the outside safely.

Dyana Layng Thanks Dyana. I have put Simba's litter out but it did not help. I put his food out and it started to attract an opossum . I did put my own worn shirt out one night but nothing. I have given flyers to 50 neighbors around in different direction and checked personally with aa few immediate ones. I am glad that you were able to get your Siamese cat and he came and was able to share the details :) I hope we get this lucky too.

Hi Dana. Yes I have been checking regularly with Oakville Humane society and check Mississauga animal shelter lost page every day. What doe SPCA stand for?

I’m sure this tip has been commented. Put some of Simbas kitty litter out on the porch so he will recognize the scent. Ask your neighbours to check their sheds and garages, and leave the doors open if possible. One of my cats got into someone’s garage and was accidentally shut in overnight. He told me all about it the next day. It was all in Siamese, but I got it. Best of luck in finding Simba.

Omer Zubair I’m so sorry. You must be frantic with worry. Have you checked the local animal shelters, Humane Society, SPCA etc for lost and found pets?
