Hi everyone, I’m trying to find my sweet cat Niblet (he also responds to “kitty”). He went missing this morning, and I’m really hoping someone may have seen him or even picked him up thinking he was a stray. Niblet was last seen in the area of Vance Jackson Rd / IH-10 / 410, specifically near the McDonald’s / Pintura Paint Supply parking lot (4335 Vance Jackson Rd) around 10:00 AM. He is wearing a collar with a tracker (the tracker was later found nearby, separated from his collar), which makes me hopeful that someone may have him safe. 💛 If you picked him up thinking he needed help, no worries at all—I would just be so grateful to have him back . 📞 Please call or text me at with ANY information 💵 Reward offered for his safe return—no questions asked. Niblet is very loved and missed. Thank you so much for keeping an eye out and sharing this post 🙏

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & Ring Neighbors app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 12. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 13. Last you can rent a humane trap at your local shelter and set it with some tasty food. If you have a lot of predators in your area, you may want to skip this step. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.
