B/W Male Pin-tailed Whydah with very long black tail feathers and an orange beak.

Message from Finder

This beautiful bird seems to be lost. He keeps fluttering in front of our glass sliding door and pecking at the door as if he is trying to come in. He flies back and forth in front of our windows as if looking for a way in. It is so sad! He must miss his family! He dies this all day long. He has been hanging around our feeder fir over a week now. Please call me if this is your bird. He lets me get pretty close as if he is used to people.

Not a pet its a wild bird. Probably sees his reflection in your window. These birds were brought in as birds to be raised and sold but escaped years ago and hang out in southern California. They are native to south africa

Please call if this is your bird. He keeps fluttering in front of our glass door and window and pecking at it. He acts like he is trying to come in. He has let me get pretty close to him.
