Cholla is 17 years old but in pretty good shape. At he’s super affectionate to everyone, but outside he acts more feral.

I have heard that sometimes an animal will go off by himself when it’s his time to go so that he can protect his owners from seeing him die. I don’t know if that’s true, but it could be. My dog is 16 years and three months old. There will be a time soon I know.

Cats are usually found within a four or five house radius. They may be hunkered down, hiding or trapped somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or down with a flashlight and look for your cats, eyes reflection. Shake a container of priest to get his attention. Cats may not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Make an online report with lost.petcolove.org which posts to the PACC website using facial recognition. Make an online report with the Humane Society. Check on the PACC website under cats that have been found. Go to PACC in person every day to check.

Put up flyers in a very large area around where he was last seen. Make a scent trail by putting his bed and some of your old clothes and shoes.

I have a couple humane traps if you want to bowrrow 1 or both. I live near golf links and wilmot. Just never set a trap in extreme heat. Ideally at night or dawn. Let me know if you'd want to borrow one
