Lee Petrik I wish 😩 this dog had on a blue collar. My dogs collar was pink, which the county had. That’s how I found out they shipped my dog off with zootrek & never posted her. 😢

ZooTrek, Inc. By the way just to inform you I'm not an activist trying to bash your company. I'm an avid animal lover, and this Dog deserves to be returned to the owner period!!!

ZooTrek, Inc. Why would you not help an owner that is trying to find their dog? That is not good Business moto!!! I don't care what the law is. You acquired the animal so it became Zoo tek, you have the authority but you choose to do business this way. I understand this is your business, how dare anyone try to get their dog back 😡 afterall shuffling dogs from one shelter to another is how you make your living.

ZooTrek, Inc. show me where my dog was posted online? They should’ve posted her but they didn’t! & as the owner I deserve to know what shelter she went to, if she has not been adopted I could go get her. & I highly doubt you follow up with these shelters or wherever you taking these animals to make sure they have been adopted so how would you know if she’s been adopted yet?

Elisa McDowell It is the law, period. And Columbia County did not fail on their part. Shelters have the option to have animals listed in their shelter OR online. This provision is also prescribed by Florida law. Nothing is being made up or done as a matter of policy, it is 100% compliance with Florida law. Under the law, once the stray hold period is up, the animal becomes the legal property of the County, when it is transferred to ZooTrek, it becomes theirs, and when adopted or delivered to a rescue, shelter, etc. it becomes their property.

Shanda Kari file a formal complaint on both companies. As a resident of Columbia County i would be livid that your tax dollars pays this company that will not corporate with you. I would go to the county tomorrow morning.
