Just an update, at this point I found 3 people looking for their cat that fit this cat. I messaged all of them, but no one replied. At this point he now has a forever home, he will have my home and always will. I have been told to take him the pound. I won't, they have a policy. If an animal is aggressive they will not allow that animal to be adopted. Some years ago, another black cat came to our home. In the end the was caught on a trap, by a person that thought stray cats were an issue or maybe thought they were helping the cat. Well one of these people caught that cat. And the cat was put down. He was not even shown as a stray cat on their found lists. Because he was aggressive. At the time I had a cat, he lived 21 years. He never went missing, but if he did and went to the pound. They would have not posted him and ed him. Because he was aggressive in situations he didn't know, our vet even had a sticker on his file. But if you met him, not closed in, or in a strange surrounding, he was ok. So I will not take any cat to the pound. I will look for the owner. Also if you lose a cat, don't just report it to the pound. Do postings on every online site you can. Most will look there.
