Our timid and loving indoor only cat made it outside last night. We have been searching and desperately want her back. We are so so concerned for her. Please help us bring her home:

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . You can also add some catnip in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. scare neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

My daughter’s indoor cat got out. After searching 3 days they found him under their floor of the deck. Narrow fit. Found him at night with a flash light. His eyes glowing gave away his position. They looked several times there, in the day, and couldn’t see him. Night time flash lights in trees, bushes. Don’t forget to look up. Good luck, come home “Wren” 😺

Many indoor cats return when it's quiet and dark usually between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. so if it is possible, leave the door/window (or garage) open slightly for her to return. If you have any other pets secure them in a room for the night. This works well for these indoor cats that get out. Put out some worn clothing with your scent and keep calling for her frequently as she should hear your voice. Check your yard and ask your neighbor if you can check their yards/patios/bushes thoroughly with a good flashlight. Put up lots of posters with a large colored picture of her around your area. You can also purchase a humane trap at Rona, Canadian tire or on Marketplace. This method works well for these shy indoor cats that get out. Line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and cover the sides and top with a sheet...don't cover the back. You would have to Google how to set it up properly to trap a cat for best results.

Put some worn clothing from a door or window, leave slightly open if possible., It has been known to have worked on numerous occasions, they are known to return either later at night or earlier in the morning, please don’t put the kitty litter tray out as it attracts Predators 🙏🙏🙏🤗💕 Shared

Scared, timid and indoor only cats do not usually wander very far and you may find your baby very near your home. Check all small openings, shrubs, under cars, decks etc. as cats can hunker down for quite a while, especially if they are in unfamiliar territory. Also check your neighbor’s yards and garages. And look up in the trees nearby too. Search when it is quiet out, you call and listen for a response. Use a flashlight which will reflect their eyes. Put up posters too.
