If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Report to animal control as LOST.. Put some of your unwashed clothes outside .. POST on the nextdoor app .. Put up flyers in as many locations as possible, Contact vets in the sorrounding areas.. Talk to your mail delivery person and show them a picture
