Message from Finder

I found this sweet puppy running in and out of traffic on Bob Wallace Ave, around the time the fireworks started, on July 4th. He almost got hit multiple times. I brought him in my back yard, fed him and gave him some water. He listens, mostly, for a puppy. He has a collar but his tags are missing from the loop. Im really hoping to find his owner because I cannot keep him. Please text me if you know who he belongs to.

Pets are considered “property” in Alabama, so they must be reported if lost and found. Please file a report with your municipal Animal services. For Example: In Madison Co., AL, all “County Animals” have to be called in to, and picked up by Madison County Animal Control, 256-532-1519. The animals lost/found in Huntsville “City” Municipality can be reported online, for Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) or at 256-883-3782. HAS also has an interactive Lost and Found Map that updates every 15 minutes. It’s available 24/7 and shows animals currently in their care, helping reunite lost pets with their families. Check it out at https://maps.huntsvilleal.gov/lostanimals/ Thank you for being a good human and for caring about keeping the animal safe.

If possible please take to check for a microchip at a Vet Office, Pet Store, Animal Control, or one of the Emergency Vets.
