Message from Finder

This cat has been in my neighborhood for the last few days. She is not a regular or stray on our block. Her collar was twisted around her front leg, but I managed to help with that. She is not fearful of cars and has no problem jumping in front of traffic to go chase birds, I’m scared she will get hit, she let me get close enough to pet her and undo her collar but when I try to pick her up, she runs away, please if this is your kitty, she needs you & your help. Location in Lakeland central area on Cambridge street between Chester & Chatham. 33803 Polk County. The other street cats are hissing at her and she will not last long on the street. Please help!

PLEASE let her in your garage or in a laundry room temporarily! Outdoor life is very dangerous and difficult for a cat! Call a local reputable cat rescue asap for help! They can track her and find her loving home!

Trisha Hayes please consider keeping her safe indoors, we rescued 3 cats and successfully transitioned them indoors. Does your county have an ordinance that cats must be kept indoors, ours does, for their own safety. Last week an eagle took away a white cat and flew above my house toward a wooded area. Coyotes, bears, Bobcats, deer and more frequent our residential area which is not far from Lakeland. Happy your cat is back home. Prayers for your loved one.
