Desperately trying to find the family to this sweet pup. Found him on Sunday 4/19 in Lancaster, TX. He was running along IH 35 and was about to be hit several times. He did not have any tags but did have a collar. He is not chipped. He is someone’s pet but looks like he had been away from for a bit. I need help as I do not live in the area. I tried for two hours finding a. Shelter open on Sunday, I went to the Desoto police department and they were closed. ( huh?) and I called animal control and they were closed too. ( so weird). I brought the dog back with me to Austin because I couldn’t just abandon him. So, if anyone can take these pictures and help me with contacting groomers or shelters I would appreciate it very much. He’s a sweet boy but I am a single mom with 3 kids and just can’t take him full time. Plus he needs to be with his family.
