I can't take the cat in at that location. It's not my house. I got in touch with the owner, they moved and they are at a place that won't allow the pet.

the alleged owner of this cat messaged me back. She claims the cat ran away and then she moved. The location she's at only allows one pet so it doesn't sound like she's coming to get this cat back.

Can you bring kitty inside to safety, food and water and then take to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the kitty and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!! Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for cats found in and near your zip code.
