Does your cat have a microchip with your current contract information Check your local animal shelter Check yours and neighbors sheds garages and window wells and under bushes and tarps and drain pipes Hand out flyers door to door Leave a way for him to get back into the house Go outside when it's quiet and call him and listen carefully for him to answer Put a flourescent poster in your front yard so if someone has him they will know where he lives and bring him home

Those tips are are crucial🐾💕. Please do not delay with getting flyers distributed right away (go door to door & actually talk to people).... make at least 60 1/2 page flyers (30 sheets 2 to a page) & 10 full sheet flyers in sheet protectors (office depot) to staple to wood posts. Staple rubber bands to the 1/2 sheet flyers so you can still leave it if they don't answer the door. This has been the most effective way that at least 9 cats have been recovered recently. I sure hope you get them back & they never get out again💕🐾.

Alert your local animal control and animal shelter in case he's picked up. Check the shelters fb posts for recent intakes & physically go to the shelters to check IN PERSON (very important). Post on the NEXTDOOR app and PAWBOOST. Hang fliers all over the area. Place scented items of yours like used bathroom towel or mat, used clothes, etc.. Outside your door. Scent may help him find the way back home. If chipped make sure your contact info is up to date with microchip company. Definitely check garages, sheds, window wells and let neighbors know in case anyone sees him on their doorbell camaras. Go out late at night and very early morning calling his name gently while shaking his favorite treat bag, food dish or whatever sound he's familiar with. Hope you find him soon 🐾
