FOUND CAT / KITTEN AT EL DORADO PARK My neighbors Greg and Neil rescued this female cat/kitten from El Dorado Park on the evening of Thursday April 16. She was sitting at the back of the tennis courts, outside against the fencing, not moving at all. She was thought to be injured, but she was likely motionless due to fear, not knowing her surroundings. They werw able to get her in a carrier and bring her . She has been with my neighbors and their cats since. They took her to vet that night to check for injuries, which the vet could find none. She is not microchipped either. She didn't eat for the first 3 days or so, and they spent the first week taking her to vet for a second visit, and making sure she got acclimated and eating, which she is now eating and getting adjusted. Vet thinks she may be 9-12 months old. She is about 7-8 pounds. She was so terrified, my guess is that she either escaped from a hse nearby the park and made her way to tennis courts where she decided to sit, or possibly more likely, she was dumped in the park by someone who no longer wanted her. If you live by the park and have been missing your cat that looks like this cat, please DM me. Her temporary name is 'Coco' (named after Coco Gauff since she was found next to tennis courts).
