Sandra Smalls There's nothing traumatic about this picture to try to shame the original poster for. If the poster hadn't noted that the dog was deceased, it would otherwise look like a sleeping dog. I understand and agree with not showing a dog that's been damaged by a car strike, but a picture like this is not that offensive.

Ashley, where is the dog's body now? Is it possible to put in the car and take to a vet to be scanned for a microchip? They may even cremate with other pets for no cost if owner does not show up.

Ashley Coghill amen! I totally agree. If your baby didn't make it at least you've got a good picture to know if its yours. That's reality...not like its torn & bloody

I’m sorry if this offended you but if this was my dog I’d want to see the whole thing. It wouldn’t matter. I’d want to know. PS- it was me who took the picture. I was about to take this dog to the vet and he didn’t even make it to me before he collapsed on the driveway. I would have cared for this animal as if it were my own
