Small dog approx 10 lbs /10 years old -give or take Gentle, sad and she was very Hungry. She's been fed and given a bowl of water and a soft bed. She's tired up on my porch until I can have her scanned for a chip. She's tired has some insect bites which I'll treat in the morning. I found her tonight in the thunderstorm :(

If not already, I’d check around your neighborhood, especially the elderly who might not be on social media. Maybe dog was let out to potty and got scared in storm.

Thank you for keeping this pet safe and ensuring that anyone who claims to be the owner IS in fact the rightful owner. Getting pet scanned for microchip is free many places, such as your vet’s office, petco, petsmart, animal shelter and many fire stations. Also please contact the local animal shelter and report this pet as found. Pet’s family should call there or go there looking for their fur baby. You can foster the pet at your home, the pet doesn’t have to stay at the shelter but they should know you found him/her. The shelter can also scan for a microchip.
