If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex Scroll Lost and Found Pets of of Lex and Pawboost for posts about found pets For birds, post to ParrotAlerts.com Ignore suggestions re instagram If its been more than 3 days also need to visit Lex Humane Society daily.

Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes, vehicle engines and tire wells, plus attics and bats, garages and sheds, bushes and trees, and under buildings and porches. Good luck.

Have you scrolled through this page, back to around that time? Also, another page called, "Lexington lost and found cats, dogs, and pets". I have seen several black and white cats posted in recent weeks, and some of them are still up, I think. I don't remember for sure whether they were lost or found, but they may have been found. Have you been checking the Humane Society, both their website, and in person?

Wearing a break away collar, didn’t have the chance to microchip him. The collar was left near the drive way of our house. Thank you for the advice 🙂

Make sure you file a “lost” report with Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control. Is he microchipped? Wearing a collar? In that busy neighborhood, I recommend going door-to-door, including businesses, like Qdoba and Marathon. Take posters with pictures. Good luck. Shared.
