Janis Estephany Nava just make sure to check daily anyway because they’re busy and sometimes things get by them. Good luck.

Angela Schroter Escota thank you. She has the chip, I called my nearest shelter and I was told that once a dog get there and found they have a chip they contact the owner right away, and she haven’t been returned or picked up by the animal shelter.

Put scent markers out, owners dirty clothes, pups bed/ blanket. Look around with a flashlight, will reflect her eyes. Post on NextDoor app. Check with local vets and shelter if not chipped. Put up and hand out colorful flyers in the area. I hope she is home soon!

Check the surrounding shelters every day. Not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, and dropped the dog at the shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And make sure you put posters up because not everyone’s on social media.
