Description

Biscuit ran away with no collar, but he has a microchip. He is very shy - a true rescue pet 2 years ago and is difficult to approach. He's an extremely good-natured dog, and is very calm and compliant when you have him in hand. He is a solid tan colored small to medium size dog (approx 20" high and 30lbs), and he has a pea-sized patch of dark hair on his right hunch, or upper rear thigh area. Also, because of his basenji ancestry, he does not bark, although he is capable of it.

Ray Mars hi Ray- thanks for the tip. Yes he was lost in sugar Mill, which you know has ample areas of Florida underbrush and woods to hunker down in. I've learned a lot about coyotes since this happened. Biscuit is on the outside edge size wise of what a coyote might bother with. And he's fast. Having said that the end of February 1st of March is peak breeding time for coyotes. During this time they tend to stay more in their family packs, and therefore are more likely to pack hunt, or ambush larger pets. So yes - it's a concern for sure. Thanks again

If you live near woods search the woods. Do you have coyotes in that area? My neighbor recently lost a cat in broad daylight while it slept on the hood of her SUV. She walked outside just in time to see a coyote run from the woods the cat and run back into the woods. Cat gone that quick.
