Message from Owner

Missing Cat It’s been 7 months since I last saw my cat. He is an indoor/outdoor cat. He loved spending time outside in my garden during the day. I always made sure he was inside before dark. If anyone has seen him please call or text me. I’ll never give up looking for my sweet boy, I miss him so much. He is microchipped.

I just found a cat who had been missing for almost a year and a half. He was microchipped and his owners had moved but yesterday he left to be reunited so I pray your is found too!

I guess I’m just lucky.!! I can’t lose any of my cats because they are all feral and live outside. They come and go as they please.

I hope he is microchipped and the contact info up to date. A cat from San Antonio was found near Floresville months after she went missing. Thanks to her microchip we were able to connect with her family to get her home in a couple of days. I sincerely hope your baby is found and returned soon.

Leave open a garage door, sliding patio door, window, etc. Cats will often hide during the day and move under the cover of darkness and sneak back into the house. Several cats have returned to their owners this way recently. It is effective. Also, keep walking your neighborhood, they usually don’t go very far but can be scared and hiding. Check under decks, bushes, or just sit quietly for hours to see if you see or hear your cat. See if any neighbors have Ring/doorbell cameras or other cameras and ask them to check their footage to see if they see your cat. Also think about setting a humane trap. A lot of shelters or animal rescue groups have them to loan. Cover the trap with a blanket or something so it doesn’t look like a trap. Bait the trap with a food your cat loves. You have to constantly check the trap though. You might catch a wild animal and that is super stressful for the animal (just release it asap), plus, depending on the weather, extreme cold or heat, it can be dangerous. But if you can check a trap every hour or put a camera on it, it is a good way to catch your cat. You may have to camouflage the trap a bit with a blanket or tree branches. Traps can look scary.
