Late last night, Eli found his way back home. We left the lights on and food and water on the front and back doors which after his day-long excursion he couldn’t resist. It took three tries to get him to come inside on his own, but the 3rd try included a trail of food leading down the hallway which brought him all the way in and me sneaking out the back to close the front door behind him! Thank you all so very, very much for sharing this post, valuable information, guidance, and reassurance that he would get home safely.
